Grocery StoresLooking for somewhere to pick up groceries, the following stores are close to Emerald Island Supermarkets Winn-Dixie 7840, W Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy, Kissimmee FL 34747 Tel: (407) 397-2210 1.5 Miles The Winn-Dixie store is closest to Emerald Island, however prices are often higher than at the Publix Supermarket. Both stores sell groceries and tourist related items such as postcards, pool toys, coolers, etc. Supercenter Stores Wal-Mart Supercenter Store,

(352) 536-2746 A little further away, the supercenter stores sell everything from groceries, toys, book, pool toys to automotive products. The Wal-mart Supercenter is the closer of the two stores. The SuperTarget is further away, but sometimes worth the trip. It is close to the Sam's Club Warehouse Store and also has a Starbuck's Coffee Shop inside it (the nearest one we know of so far) Warehouse StoresSam's Club, 4763 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy, Kissimmee, FL 34746 Tel: (407) 397-9910 Costco Warehouse, 2101 Water Bridge Blvd, Orlando, FL 32837 Tel: (407) 393-1003 Warehouse stores are membership stores, but do sell bulk packages of groceries and other items. They are great if you are staying a longer time or have a larger family group. If you are already a member in another state/country then you should have no problem buying at either of these stores. Not a member? Sam's Club will sell to non-members, but there is a 10% mark-up on the prices. If you are buying a lot it may be worth investing in a basic membership. Costco do a similar thing where you can get a day pass, but again there is a 10% mark-up on prices. Payment at both places needs to be by cash or check. Costco also accept American Express and Sam's Club have their own credit card that they also accept. Apart from that, neither store accepts credit cards. Shopping ServicesIf you don't want to do your shopping on arrival at Emerald Island, there are companies that will shop for you and deliver the groceries to your home at Emerald Island.
